I love to start my day with a glass of fresh orange juice. And it feels good to have lots of fresh fruits in the breakfast, but it’s really boring to cut all that fruit. This salad recipe will really motivate you (hopefully!) to have fruits everyday. It has flavors, colors and attractive enough for the kids too. - Oranges: 2 medium
- Bananas: 1 large
- Apples: 1 medium
- Plum or peach: 1 medium
- Strawberries: 10-12
- Salt: a big lunch
- Honey: 2 tbsp
- Pepper: 1/2 tsp
- To prepare the dressing, press orange juice from the oranges using a citrus juicer and add it to a bowl. Add honey, salt and pepper to the juice and give it a good stir.
- Dice all the fruits and add them to the bowl.
- Mix the fruits and the dressing using two wooden spatulas. Salad is ready!
Try to avoid fruits that are a bit sour, for example, sour plum, kiwi (a bit raw) or pineapple. Citrus salad dressing and sour fruits don’t go well together.
