Happy Friday everyone and happy March - it's been a week alright. At the start of the week, Elliott got a stomach bug and was up all night one night and then yesterday we caught it in the middle of the night. But, we are all recovering and we are off to Disneyland tomorrow so I'm ready for a busy, fun vacation.

This past week, Calgary Wordfest held an event with my favourite author - Cherie Dimaline, for her new book Venco! I'm a huge fan so this was amazing - listening to her speak about her book and everything that went in to it was fabulous! I'm halfway through and it's about feminist witches taking down the patriarchy and it's great! 

TWO


It's been a year since I went vegetarian and I've been enjoying sharing my veggie meals. I hope that you guys have been enjoying seeing all the recipes and veggie meal ideas! I'm not preachy about going vegetarian, but I do think everyone should reduce their meat consumption, so even if one day a week you want to do meatless Monday, hoping you will find some good suggestions! Also, I'm also going to include some of my eating out meals instead of just cooked for a little more inspiration if you are looking to eat vegetarian while out! 
(Also, this month there are a few pescatarian meals in here as I eat fish and seafood once in a while!) 

-Bucatini pasta with veggie sauce 
-15 Minute Peanut Butter Curry (recipe by Lucy and Lentils)
-Veggie Dogs (from Ikea) with fries and corn
-Pastina soup with cheese quesadillas
-PB & B Toast 
-Costco cheese pizza 
-Breakfast Tacos 
-Snack plates 
-Ceasar salad with crunchy chick peas and garlic toast
 -Poke bowl with poke salmon (from costco - sooo good!)
-Homemade pizza with olives, pepers and spinach 
-Air fried tofu with fries and salad
-harvest bowl with roasted zucchini, sweet potatoes, quinoa and tahini honey dressing
-Pulled jackfruit and coleslaw 
-Grilled cheese and tomato soup
-Pizza 73 takeout
-peanut sauce ramen
-mac and cheese
-Lobster ravioli with rose sauce and focaccia 
-cheese perogies and mushrooms

THREE 


It's been almost a year since I had my cut and dyed - so this week I went and got it done and I love it! Just a little darker and nice and soft and cleaned up! (Don't mind how tired I look - this is right after I was up with E all night!)

FOUR 


I was sooo excited for Season 3 of The Mandalorian to start this week - we watched it right away and enjoyed it. I know a few people thought it was slow, but I thought it set up a lot of things for the season and I love Grogu and Mando so I can't wait to see the rest of it! 

FIVE 


Also very excited that Sephora Canada included two new brands that last two weeks - Glossier is finally available and I am really excited to try a few new items from them! Then Paula's Choice is one of my favourite skincare brands and I love that they are accessible in Canada now! 

I hope you all have a great weekend - we are away for the week, so it's going to be quiet around here (I don't have anything prepped except next week's Five on Friday!
