At JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa it’s Jingle Bells time at their new pop-up bar, The Arctic Lodge, which is open to the public!

Jingle bells, jingle bells, the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa has a new holiday pop-up bar!

 

 

 

JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa is thrilled to announce their new holiday pop-up bar, The Arctic Lodge, is open to the public and decked out in decor to celebrate the season. The Arctic Lodge at JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa joins other holiday pop-up bars in San Antonio such as Miracle at the Esquire Tavern ad Snowbound at Chicken N Pickle.

 

The Arctic Lodge is the resort’s water park restaurant converted into a holiday pop-up bar enclosed with twinkling lights, hanging snowflakes, Christmas trees, wreaths, and more decor to exude the holiday spirit within. Nine festive holiday cocktails – one for every reindeer on their night off – are featured. Each reindeer shared their favorite below.

Dasher – Fizz Navidad: Gray Whale Gin, Lemon, Egg White, Simple Syrup, Soda

Dancer – Up to Snow Good: Bacardi Rum, Coconut, Evaporated Milk, Cinnamon

Prancer – Treat Yo’Elf: Carolans Irish Cream, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Chocolate Syrup, Peppermint (Served Frozen)

Vixon – Merry Christmas, Ya Filthy Animal: RumChata Rum Cream, Hot Chocolate

Comet – Are You Feeling Santa-mental: Angel’s Envy Bourbon, Mint, Cranberry, Simple Syrup

Cupid – Run, Run As Fast As You Can: Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Espresso, Gingerbread Syrup, Kahlua

Donner – North Pole Mule: Maker’s Mark, Ginger Beer, Fresh Lime

Blitzen – Mull It Over: Redemption Bourbon, Warm Apple Cider

Rudolph – Under the Mistletoe: Patrón Tequila, Lime Juice, Triple Sec, Agave, Rosemary (Served on the Rocks)

Bartenders dressed in their best ugly Christmas sweaters are stirring up the cocktails in themed glasses; holiday craft beers and cider cans, including Karbach Brewing Co.’s Yule Shoot Your Eye Out Red Ale, Saint Arnold Brewing Company’s Christmas Ale, V!VA Ski San Antonio Vanilla Porter, and Austin Eastciders Cherry Lime Cider, Hill Country Honey Blonde which the resort partnered with Freetail Brewing Company to create, and other draft beers.

Guests that have worked up an appetite after enjoying the resort’s nightly light show, holiday crafts, and visits from Santa’s reindeer can enjoy festive snacks including spiced crackers & pimento cheese, candied pecan popcorn, peanut butter & chocolate muddy buddies, pistachio cranberry biscotti, pumpkin cherry bread, and peppermint chocolate bark.
